Would it be worth spraying tea tree oil of something in his hair every day for a week or so to get all the ones that hatch? Also should I do something to Caprece so she doesn't catch them?]]>

Like Kelly, I get her hair nice and clean then she goes back to school and bang, she's got them again. So now I just comb her hair out every Sunday night and treat as required. Oh and I straighten it occasionally too.]]>

Straigtening is really good though and that aqueous cream suggestion sounds good to, Im gonna try that next time, it can be really expensive getting the stuff at the chemist all the time]]>

Tea tree works well too, but the smell of tea tree can be a bit "yuck" to the littlies.<br />]]>

We have had recurring nits here - which drives me insane as we have treated them numerous times and nit comb all the time and its obviously the same kids reinfecting others all the time.  The most important thing is to treat 7 days after again to make sure you get any eggs thats may have hatched.<br /><br />I HATE NITS!!!!! And stupid parents that aren't doing the responsible thing and treating them!]]>

Will prob do it again in a few days and hopefully that works. Thankfully neither Caprece or I have them. <br /><br />Im guessing preschool can't say don't come if I have treated them and chances are he got them from there.<br /><br />Thanks guys and thats a good thing to know about the hair straightner, I don't think Jacks hair is long enough but will be handy if/when Caprece gets them.]]>
