Something similar happened to my facebook profile last year, such a pain!!! It was some weird app like speed dating or something I wasn't even aware I had added, and I had to change my password too. yes loads of my friends add apps, drives me mental as I get so many requests!

Jess actually alerted me to something that made sense....if you get a box pop up saying that you have been disconnected/session timed out and asks you to log back in again...ignore it!!! Because that is one way of them getting your details. uummm I have never ever added an app, I ignore and delete every single one, so that can't possibly be the way they hack onto mine! I think its got something to do with your password, I think I just need to change it every few days!

Mine does it while I am asleep too

minik8e - I just delete the status off my profile and carry on as normal.

Yeah I'm thinking it must have been one of my friends...some of them use some really random apps!!! Most of these are coming through dodgy apps. A few of the apps stopped working this weekend just been and the general suspicion was that FB had been hacked (again) through allowing dodgy apps.

Sucks that it happened to you. I have just deactivated my Facebook account because it seems like it has been hacked and it keeps sending out posts about weight loss programs.
