I used to get an afternoon nap sometimes, but as DS has gotten into a pattern of only sleeping for 45min at a time, naps for me just don't happen any more

Yep, some babys didn't read the same book as us and do things when they want to, not when the book says! haha. It could also be due to your millk supply - maybe you're not resting or eating as much as you were so its not so satisfying and bub needs more. They absolutely can happen at any time. I thought my girl had one on the weekend but on Monday she came down with a cough so I'm guessing all the feeding was her way of tanking up to fight the bug. Is there such a thing? I thought it was 2,4,6,12 weeks. Or is that just some kind of average and DS can have a growth spurt whenever he wants.

DS has been pretty good lately, (well, grumpy sometimes but in a predictable way). He's just turned 10 weeks and today he's been all over the place. Wants to eat, eat and eat. I'm starting to wonder if he's even getting any milk out he's been on so much today. I feel completely tapped out.
