He's been getting frustrated with the teat on his sippy cup, so I've been taking the lid off and helping him sip from the cup. But he's also been watching me drink from a pump bottle, so I let him try and he loves it! Must get him a proper re-usable bottle (without the PET in the plastic) in a small size for him ....

My girls kept refusing water until they were close to one Theres not much you can do but persevere and keep offering it. I can't remember how many bottles of formula my girls were having at that age but it was still their main source of fluids. I think they are meant to get around 600ml of fluids each day around Tylers age. At around 9 months we gave the girls those drink bottles with the straws and haven't looked back they have never been fans of the sippy cup.

This may sound odd but we used to warm the water up when they were 6-9 months because that was the only way we could get water into them. I think they used to get a shock at the cold water because they were expecting warm milk.
