I dont regret a thing about it! I was talking to a lady in my antenatel class whose having twins and she had had 12 normal scans and was up to 32wks i think. They flick back and forth from 2D to 3D - they use 2D for the anatomy part (where they check that all is as it should be) and then show you baby's face and other bits afterwards.  I can't see how it could be any different risk wise than a standard 2D scanning machine.  I agree with you Nikki - too much emphasis is placed on things being dangerous during pregnancy.  Just like everything causes cancer these days.....]]>

I went for one on Monday!! We were in the same room and using the same machine as we did when we went for the 20 weeks scan.  It is just a computer that forms the 3-D photos because we were also given normal black and white xrays.<br /><br />In reality if they were not safe they would not let you have them.  That is my view anyway]]>
