Emms I used to work in the operating theatres and its not so bad in a controlled environment, its actually really interesting. And I used to be a real wuss around blood. With IV lines etc I am sure you will be concentrating so much on getting the vein you won't even be thinking about the 'grossness' of it!!!

Yip he s in a time out alright! But he seems generally happier so I won't push it... Meanwhile I'm getting bloods done today and booked my mw from ds so it's starting tofeel more real now:)

Yeah I am the same Nic, I thought that because the age gap is so small it would be nice to have 2 girls but its kind of nice knowing you have one of each and can stop at 2 if you want.........

We BD'd loads and got a girl last time and maybe BD'd once and have got a boy this time!!!! They also say its linked to diet so who knows.......although I was eating much healthier before I got pregnant last time!

I would have liked a surprise, but am glad I found out now as I thought I was having another girl, never imagined in a million years I would have a boy!!!!!! We BD'd lots the month i got pregnant with Kaelen and maybe only a few times with Isabella as we were busy with moving and stuff.

I know BK! I thought that this morning... crazy! I honestly struggle to believe im PG.. and I cant belive im that far already... argh it makes my head hurt trying to think aobut it!
I want it to be a surprise, I was going ot make DH find out (he thought it was a boy, and really wanted a boy (well did with lilla) but hes changed his mind a bit and now thinks it s a girl and wouldnt mind for it to be a girl since lilla is so cute (his words!) so I dunno.. )
Last time he foudn out at 20w and I didnt, but ended up finding out at about 32w.

I was about 7 weeks when I went for a scan about a week after my BFP. Yeah I had to get a dating scan SB as I had no idea how far along I was except I knew it was not early as I got a really dark line in the middle of the day! Add a week to the start of LMP and put yourself at about 3w5d.... You are like me and get crazy early bfp so I dont think you are quite 4 weeks yet. So like 25 May as your LMP. You will get a dating scan anyway right?

Wow SB exciting!! Enjoy the BFP and watching them get darker. An ultrasound will tell you when your due, so a guestimated ticker should do Im with Mel, I'd love to be UTD too but I've just got a new job and don't start til July! Although we had a oopsie this month so I'm hoping I'm not yet!

SnuggleBear,first of all,congratulations again,by the sounds of it you are definitely UTD.
A small gap is hard,but its not hard forever,and you will be grateful for it when your kids are older.
Let your man just come to terms with it on his own,hes probably worrying about cost etc,but he will soon remember that you have 9 months to sort that side of it out.

Oh yeah its tough alright, but also heaps of fun! :). Ive actually found it harder the last year, as my two are so close in age but not the same age..so they clash A LOT. It was easier when Bella was a baby and Caden a toddler as they played separate. I reckon in another 6 months they will start playing better, as Bella wont want to wreck everything, she will start playing like Caden does.

I got heaps of fainties(ask emmi she saw them lol) and I denied it for a week hehe, then just before AF was due I got a line I believed! (I was TTC but just didnt expect it to happen that fast)

At least now you can ttc when you are 100% ready I was really clucky for ages and kinda wished I was pregnant, but knew I didnt realllyyy want to be at that time, so when we waited until we were really ready, I felt heaps better about it.

Oh dear another fainty this morning though they do seem to be stronger in the arvo/evening BUT I told dh and I'm afraid it wasn't quite the fairytale response...
