She was 10lb born so not a little thing to turn. I think I also took homeopathic pulsatilla 200 to encourage turning too. Low iron levels are often indicated in non-ideal presentations. Good luck & hopefully your babe gets in a better position, so your worries will go.

He surprised the midwife with a foot and balls during my internal and i was already 10cm. He was footling(?) breech which is spose to be really dangerous and was coming too fast so they couldnt get me to the theatre for a c-sect so the specialist guy ended up cutting me and finding the other foot. His apgar was 3 at 1 min but was 8 for the 2nd one. There was a lot of stitches which werent pleasant. I dont think you would be allowed to birth naturally if baby is presenting the same way mine was tho.

The OB said though that current research shows that birthing a breech baby is no more dangerous than having a c/s and had he had been my second and they knew I could birth naturally they would have advised to not go the c/s route.

You could try acupuncture I've heard some success stories from that for turning babies and doing downward dog (the yoga move) is good for giving baby extra room to turn.

Was it assisted? How big was your baby? etc. Any information at all would be great.

Im currently 37+ weeks and baby is a complete breech , ECV is not an option for us due to previous c-sec with DD#1. I have had 4 normal births since that c-sec 2 of which the babies were over 10lb. This one is now expected to be around 8lb at term.

Am seeing ob today and have been told that a natural breech birth may be an option as Im quite worried about a c-sec, but in saying that Im just as worried about a natural breech birth to.

So any experiences good and not so good would be appreciated.
