We saw the red skies from the end of our driveway  It's pretty big. Surprised I couldn't find it on a news website really.

4kms from Tiwai, and the actual fire is 2ks long burning uncontrolled.

We saw 2 helicopters. possibly 3.

Can see the smoke from Mataura which is 40min drive from here...
