I started putting him on that breast first at every feed and a week or so he was fine again. I think he just needed to build the supply up on that side??? ]]>

It had to do with the shape of my breasts. When he got a bit bigger and more established at feeding he was happy to switch to cradle hold for both sides. <br /><br />Thank goodness to as it was getting a bit awkward, especially when we were out.]]>

She prefers the football hold on that side too.  I think it is a different shape or something so she can get a better latch with the football hold.  ]]>

I've thought he was complaining as my left has a slower flow than right.  Then over the last week he's started to completely refuse the left side.  Even before trying to latch.  <br />So then I thought. . .  what if I tried feeding him rugby hold on the left?  Maybe he doesn't like lying on his right side?<br />Turns out I was right!  Now I feed him across the front on the right, then have to organise rugby hold for the left (which is a bit annoying)<br /><br />Is this a problem?  <br />I mean I know it's a hassle, but is it a problem I need to do something about - and if so what?<br />I wondered if it could be an ear infection, but other than feeding time there doesn't seem to be anything wrong.<br /> ]]>
