i was on antibiotics for half my pregnancy - had thrush like u wouldnt believe (yet never before!!) and a UTI and a infected tooth - and even a dental visit at like 12 weeks!!!! talk about stress of what might affect a baby....but she turned out perfect!!!

just tell doc you are trying or pregnant and they will adjust what antibiotics they give you!

Aw chuckles we all know that feeling of `just wanting a baby' hun. Here's hoping it is just too early for your BFP.

Aside from that I don't really have any advice. Have you tried charting? We have an awesome thread on here where the girls use Fertility Friend (www.fertilityfriend.com) you can join and get charting for free ..just need a BBT thermometer. I have only been charting for 2 months now and have learned so much about my cycle...e.g. my LP (from ov to AF) was too short to sustain a pregnancy, so the girls told me to take vitamin B6 and yuss! my LP this month lengthened to 12 days

My name is Nika and my partner and i have been trying to get pregnant for about 11 months now. This month, we have been doing it almost everyday in the hope of possibly concieving. A couple of days before my pariod was due... I noticed a lump on the lower right vulva. I went to the doctor and she said that it was an absess and she gave me mild antibiotics. The absess wasnt even infected yet and the antibiotics were very mild.

Im not under any stress at the moment and my period is 3 days late now.

I have read that anitbiotics dont affect your period but the infection may... I have also taken 3 HPT in the last 3 days and all of them a BFN!

We are absolutely desperate for a little miracle! can anyone give advice on what to try next time.. or if it is just too early to tell whether i am pregnant or not. I really hope I am!

I havnt had many symptoms.. apart from sore nipples for a week after ovultaion and grumpyness and tiredness.
