We had several (really good) docs/MWs miss Daniel's problems just cos they're hard to hear. I agree he's not bad enough to have immediate admittance. She put him straight on the nebuliser & made a face when I said that the other dr the other day didn't, I think if I'd seen Dr#1 last week then more would have happened then. He has good days & bad, today has been much better but then he did have a nebuliser this morning.

The Dr#2 the other day was hopeless, you would have thought that if a mother was concerned enough to get her baby's O2 levels check then you would have done more. She said he had no wheeze and that he had a chest infection. Today Dr#1 said he definitely has a wheeze & was so rattly that she couldn't almost hear his heart!

Hope I make sense...you know how it all rumbles around in your head!

If it's clear sounding then I would maybe see about getting his heart checked over, maybe talk to your Dr's about it?

We have heart issues in our family so I was concerned but I kept getting sent home and being told not to over-react It was freaky and horrible!!
In the end he seemed to grow out of it before we were able to force anyone to look into it further. I'd sit and watch him sleep though. I was terrified he'd stop breathing or something!
Hope you get more answers than we did hun!!

He's had nebulisers a few weeks ago & his sat levels were done yesterday & are normal ( which I thought they would be cause he was a nice shade of pink at that time!)

He seems to go blue when he eats or after he's eaten and when he sleeps. I've been told by a sleep therapist friend to get his transcutaneous C02 checked as well.

Anyone else go through this & what was the outcome?
