Author: fattartsrock
Subject: 29655
Posted: 04 November 2009 at 11:02pm

ok it peaks in your system 30 to 60 minutes after a drink, so feeding after that is fine. It takes one to two hours to be totally out of the system of a 60kg woman.
Tjhe general rule of thumb is let one hour pass after one drink.
All studies are heavily referenced. Here are some of the studies referenced in one folder I have.

American Academy of Padiatrics committee on drugs

Carlson, H et al

Lawton, M

Little, R et al

Mennella, J and Beauchamp, G x 2

Mennella, J and Gerrish C

Mennella J x 2

Schulte, P

I can, word for word, type out the exact teaching module I have, but at this time of night, I can't be arsed! But, the crux of it is moderation, no co sleeping, one hour to pass from one drink, not a regular thing blah blah. The teaching module i have is an international one, so has been researched ad used internationally for however long the programme I am teaching has been running.

Sorry, not meant to sound rude or preachy, either...

Edited by fattartsrock
