But from about 6/7 months she started kicking her blankets off and rolling around so thats when i started putting it on her.

She sleeps with it every night now and she is 10 months, and she will continue sleeping with it until the weather gets warmer.

She still has a singlet, skivvies, and flanelette pj's or onesies on under it.

DD kicks her blankets off during the night quite often so at least when she is in her sleeping bag i know its still keeping her warm.

In Summer I vary from nothing underneath (30 degree yesterday pm) to PJs and then might just put a sheet over top. I know you dont need anything over top but it just feels wrong to me.

We just put our DD in an AIO and a wooly top (for the arms out)

2. Yup wrapping is still possible, we did with our DD

3. As potato says, you can do the domes up under the arms, and as they are a newborn, theoreticall not moving anywhere, you dont need to worry about then slipping down. We folded it up over the top, as an extra layer of blanket.

4. It's great for when you are out, because you can get them changed for bed, and put them in the carseat for the way home, then just pull them out and straight into bed.

5.You can totally use them witht the hammock. We used a hamock for the first few months LOVE LOVE LOVED it.

    Author: sadie
Subject: 29672
Posted: 02 November 2009 at 9:33am

We didn't start using ours on DS until he was about 7 months old when we weaned him from the wrap.

In answer to your questions though:

1. We dressed DS in a AIO sleepsuit underneath. During winter, he also had a merino / polyprop long sleeved singlet on too, and then we draped a merino blanket over him as well (cold room)

2. A friend of mine used her gogo bag from birth on her DS, and she wrapped his arms with a muslin, so definitely possible!

3. They have extra domes on the arm holes that you can use for a newborn, making the arm holes smaller. I think you are supposed to fold the bottom of the bag under as well to make it more snug.

4. Not sure about tips or tricks, but we loved ours once we started using them!

5. We never used a hammock so can't answer that. i don't see why you couldn't though?
