We get in to it as "once a year fun". we usually do $10 bets each. and the winner is whoever wins the most.....usually one or two dollars. I usually do a box trifecta and then one each way on a few others. DP is off to put a bet on for me now. have been tossing up weather on not i want to risk loosing my money or not lol. have just decided oh well i'm definitely not going to win if i don't have a try.

FX for me and all the other ladies who are brave enough to take the risk.

Normally I partake in the office sweep, only 5 of us so not happening this year. I'm envious of my friend who is going to the Melbourne Cup today, its so much fun getting dressed up and going to the races, not many chances in life to wear hats.
