I sometimes get this horrible pain in my nipples, they feel like they are being burnt with ice or something, it really hurts. And sometimes they turn purple? sometimes both sometimes one. I only managed to get colustrum out if i squezzed them a bit but then its not all the time it happens. Very strange. Ouchy - I've had similar shooting pains in my breasts. There is a lot more blood flow and activity in the breasts during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy so it could be blood flowing through to parts that don't get much activity to warm the pipes, so to speak. Hey there,

Since yesterday I noticed when I touched my right nipple there is a horrible pain that seems to come from inside the breast/nipple area.

Not the usual breast pain but a pain like a deep cut deep inside nipple and throbs occsionally. Therre are no signs of cuts or anything and last night after Id been sleeping on it I rolled over and experienced pain.

What do you reckon it is. Doesnt feel normal. Maybe an infection? No leakage yet and no sign of colestrum.

Anyone experienced this be4??
