If you are concerned you should call your MW. Jackson's movements didnt slow down but they did get less 'kicky' if you like. He did more squirming than kicking. I also noticed his awake and sleep periods too.

I did have a MW tell me once that some babies do their 10 movements first thing in the morning (and vice versa) and then very little during the day and evening and she said its normal as long as you have left at least 10. On the flip side Ive also heard that you should feel at least 1 an hour. I haven't experienced it myself as both my babies have been big movers, but i've heard a lot of people saying that their babies slowed a lot towards the end. I've heard a lot that's it's perfectly normal too. If you are worried you should have a chat to your MW. I've found with both my babies, they have had really active periods and also really quiet periods that can often last a few days.   In saying that I usually felt at least some movement each day.    

Slowed movement towards the end is natural though as they have hardly any room in there.    And I think very little movement at the very very end of your pregnancy can sometimes mean you're very close to being in labour.

Definitely pay attention to bub's movements. Him slowing down can be the first sign of trouble. 10 movements a day is what you need. If you are having trouble keeping track, note them down on your hand or something

I haven't had any trouble detecting the movements, so maybe just take some time to focus on your tum and figure out what the movements feel like?

If baby isn't moving, drink a glass of iced water and lie down for half an hour. If that doesn't get a response, call your MW.

I've had one episode of monitoring after baby had a quiet period. They also have awake and asleep times. I remember my MW saying to me that Thomas would move less towards the end of preg because theres bugger all room in there! he'd just move small amounts a few times a day. Just wondering how everyone elses bubs has been or was during the last 2-6 weeks of pregnancy?

I remember reading that the kicks will turn into more large movements as room runs out and think this has happened like clockwork but i am a little worried as im used to keeping an eye on kicks not bubs rolling around which to be honest is really hard to pin point. So.... i am constantly worried bubs isnt moving enough. My husband thinks I should of course stop worrying and that we are pretty much out of any danger of anything happening "Danger Zone"...
