A couple of singlets underneath but in saying that Feb is very hot. Also lots of nightgowns. Babies dont need designer clothes in the first couple of months its not comfortable for them and they have such sensitive skin.

Cardies and over pants too if you have short all in ones.

Nappies I have brought a pack from the supermarket each shopping trip along with wipes. You could also pick up bibs each week.

The lists you can get online are great and I used this one and got most things on it

http://www.babycity.co.nz/baby-checklist

Or little night gowns too for easy nappy changing, especially at night.

As for naps, I used disposables for my first, and hope to use cloth for both once the new one is born, but will still use disposables when this one is up to about 6 to 8 weeks, the little guys just seem to explode, poos for africa, especially if they are breast fed!!

Cotton, merino, woolen, bamboo.

Nappies - Try before you buy - unless you've used them before. If you want to buy some now to put away, get one or two of each sort (hook and loop, snaps, OSFM, sized, AIO, SIO, pockets, prefolds, the list goes on, and on.) There are so many options, it really is best to try and hire some to start with.
