same here...from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep its non stop...and he can sing the alphabet over and over and over and over for ages. He sings constantly and gives a running commentary of everything.

It has gotten better as his language improves....in that I can now have sensible conversations...the amount hasnt changed.

yep it gets worse...seems that the kids who talk early then just go on and on and on...

and we dont just get the talking we get constant singing in the car too (why on earth she wont learn beyonce is beyond me!).....Dh has nicknamed her the Ellapod on shuffle....and it is an apt description!

she issvery clever tho...can do do re me right thru no stopping....but on repeat it is over the top!

haha - I'm glad I'm not the only one with toddler who gives a running commentry! It can be quite useful as you can hear what they are up to and know to get suspicious if it is quiet!

Apparently they learn at some stage to just think things instead of saying it all out loud. Yep Madison is the same with the 'whats that mummy' - even when you tell her she will ask again about 5 mins later. Sam is the same!   Absolutely non stop talking all day, and if he's not talking he is singing, usually the alphabet song as fast and as loud as he can, while running in a circle, and eating at the same time.

I get a running commentary about everything that he is doing, everything that I am doing, what we are going to do, what we have done. He is also a little parrot and will repeat everything I have said, but 50 times.   He came back from his dads and had learnt 'oh for f*ckas sake* which is his favourite at the moment.

Please someone tell me that I am not the only out there whose toddler chatters away nonstop and that someday it will get better.

All day, everyday...all I hear is 'what's that Mummy', What's their name Mummy', 'Where are they going', What are they/you doing mummy', 'where's (daddy/nana/pop etc) Mummy'. It wouldn't be so bad if she just asked the question 1 time, instead of repeating exactly the same question about 20 times one after each other.

Quite frankly, it's driving me mad (and I am running out of answers to all the questions).  I am so tired at the end of the day, just by answering all the questions. I dread the day she discovers the dreaded 'why' question.
