I dont wanna be alarmist but when I studied human development 1 at Massey I'm sure we learnt that chicken pox can affect bubs right throughout pregnancy not just in the 1st tri. Apparently i'm all good as I'm over the 1st trimester so no worries. You can be tested for immunity but it takes about a week for the results to come back!!! If you've had it twice you should be immune (fingers crossed) which would mean baby should be all good, if however you aren't immune I believe it can be quite serious.
