Just a thought.

I would probablyr drop the morning bottle too. He used to be great at breakfast but most days it sits there at the table and gets picked at throughout the morning. Toast is definitely more appealing than cereal at the moment. Smoothies are good though.

Try a "special" breakfast treat....it doesnt have to be naughty just not typical breakfast...like sandwiches instead of breakfast and make a big fuss. Have it on the floor on a mat or something. just make sure you are happy to give it to him again....as you may find it gets insisted upon.

at the moment I work on a daily food allowance and let him eat when he wants as long as he is eating enough throughout the day. I just cant be arsed with the fuss.

We dropped it when Jake turned one, which meant he was hungry and happy eat breakie as soon as he woke. Now that hes older he eats it 30-60mins after getting up. When he had the morning milk, he wasn't really hungry for breakfast til after 8am at least (earlier riser, so about 1.5-2 hours after the bottle).
