I had some nappy rash cream that I got as a present that I've rubbed on which has helped.  Seems the baby products are the way to go.]]>

In the hospital they used calamine lotion which made it feel great while it was still damp but once it dried was still itchy-ish.  <br /><br />I know its hard but try not to scratch till your bleeding, makes it so much worse because then everything stings as well <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Hopefully it wont be too much longer for you!]]>

It made a slight difference, a cold flannel helped too.<br /><br />It disappeared almost straight after DS was born]]>

What have you guys used that helps take away the itch?<br /><br />So far only a cold flannel helps but that's too temporary.  Do I need a prescription for something to get rid of it? ]]>
