I thought we were having behavioral problems due to her ears but it seems not as she has not improved in that region.

It has seemed to help with her night sleeping though as she was waking up several times a night screaming the house down for no apparent reason and not remember a thing in the morning. She has not done it since a couple of days after her op.

It's fairly common for kids with recurrent ear infections to have delayed language and can affect behaviour. Also, you may be dealing with well-learned/embedded behaviour patterns and they can take a while to change. AND (sorry, last thing I promise), how does he feel after the op? Does he notice the change in his hearing? Is he more sensitive to noise (maybe oversensitive?)
