We bd as often as we can around ovulation - and it is not that much fun sometimes!!
But i think it will be worth it. We are a first time TTC couple and we agreed that we would bd every day, even before ov started. (I should note in here that we are generally a 1-2 bd a week couple).

However this backfired, because between exhaustion from work and doing it more than usual, we weren't in the mood to bd every single day. We only bd'd twice during ov, and now I regret it terribly.

Another person on here suggested I google 'Sperm Meets Egg Plan' - this will definitely be our bd plans for next month. A lot more relaxed than what we tried this month.

As others have said though, definitely depends on your and your DP. I would say to do it as much as you can during OV, but without it becoming a chore. We're more the every-second-or-third-day types, ourselves, when not trying. But we both seem happy with that, and that's what matters I guess - we're all different. Wish I could say it was once a day - but its not it would be just so much easier then trying to figure out when to do it. No it all seems to work okay lol. I have to say it is usually summer and we are in that loved up mood. We are the same in fact I sometimes cant keep my hands off DP I find him so hot lol. ALthough we dont always BD everyday we definately make up for it in the weekend sometime we have got up to 10times in a day lol.

We have been trying for every other day around ovulation time, and usually it happens every 2-3 days at other times. When we were TTC it was just whenever we felt like it but def once or twice at OV. This time we weren't really trying and succeeded when we BD once 5 days b4 OV. I reakon it is probably more successful if it is more spontaneous and less of a "chore". Maybe this will give you some hope.
DP and I are normally very active in the BDing department particuarly around ov I have always been extra "keen" even when we weren't TTC it is normally every day.
However the month we did get UTD I was soooo flat out at work doing late nights by the time I got home I was not in the mood at all. I honestly think we only BDed maybe once in the optimal time that month but I still got UTD.

With all 4 of my pregnancies we BD'ed every day. And since I've been trying this time we haven't done that and I haven't got preggers. So this month DH will be in heaven cause it will be every day he gets it lol
