PS -- the one I got also says it meets Australian Safety Standards. I use one of the second (cheaper) option and think it's great. It doesn't actually sit on your tummy -- underneath it instead around your lower pelvis.

It is a little fiddly the first couple of times you use it, but you get used to it. I can swap seats (and cars) with it now in about 30 seconds, and if it's on the seat you usually sit in, it only takes about another 2 seconds to put it on.

I've been using it since about 16 weeks as I figured the baby was still there at risk anyway, even if I wasn't that big. Has anyone used/have one of these? I would look at getting one (the other ones were a bit out of my price range!) if they were any good.... Not really the sort of thing that you want to find out at the time dont work so well!
