I too am after desks for my kids, mainly mr 8yr. wow - who knew that desks were so expensive . I have just looked at all my fav websites and everything is over $500!!!!

How about this - ready to be painted traditional desk

the only thing is it would only last a few years.

or this would look great once stripped and painted

I am trying to find a nice desk for Janaya for Christmas. She is 6, so she's a bit too big for the likes of the Mocka tables etc.

I've looked on trademe but can't find anything in Wellington.
I want something small with a chair, and I don't really want to spend more than $200-$250.
