Chances of your bracelet being "ruined" by another brand of bead are slim to none... just a marketing ploy to get you to buy their stuff. And of it being ruined by any bead etc full stop - also slim to none, unless you are hard on your jewellery, then you wouldn't be covered by any kind of gaurantee anyhow... That also includes if you never take it off...

my SIL works for a Gemtime jeweller that does Pandora so I normally get any beads from her. As far as I'm aware though, all the beads should be the same price everywhere. A plain sterling silver pandora bead is usually $35. Walker and Hall have a good website where you can create your own bracelet and purchase beads online.

SIL used to work for a jeweller so she can be a little fussy about jewellery . She gets her Pandora bracelet charms fro m Franich Jewellers In WestCity, Henderson. Evolve I think is the brand you are looking for. I can't remember the name of the jewelers that stock them.

eta: I remember. Christies Jewellers have the nz type beads.

For Christmas pressie..... does anyone have any recommended websites/shops? I want good quality but not over the top expensive.

Also there's a website that does pandora style kiwiana beads - real cool ones like a kete, tiki etc. My google search hasn't found it, does anyone know what it is?
