Go out for an hour during the day, get DH to feed her some solids and play a game. Then make it an hour and a half, with a bottle due around the 1 hour mark, so he has a chance to offer it, but it's not so long that they get super stressed before you get home. Then 2 hours, offering a bottle at the 1 hour mark (just offer, if she doesn't want it then they go and play and offer again in half an hour). Etc, etc.

I totally agree with kebabkat, it's just a case of practice. Get him involved with the night time routine every night so she's used to him being around then - maybe a bedtime story? But I really think you can only handle this one thing at a time. Start with the bottle.

Probably not the most helpful answer though..

    Author: LG
Subject: 30449
Posted: 11 December 2009 at 7:35pm

Does anyone have any ideas for us? Kaelin will only take a bottle from me, go to sleep for me and settle for me. DH and i have been trying to get her to do all 3 things for him but its not working. Last night she cried for 2 hours until i got home, DH hates it when she cries so much and its not really fair on either of them (i think) for her to be upset for so long. Can anyone suggest things we can try to ease her mummyitis a little bit? Im going to a wedding in 4 weeks and need to have something sorted by then so i dont end up staying at home. Thanks!
