Naawww, everyone has a story or two hehe, I almost arsed over during the weekend, walking in the carpark to the pool, and I felt even more stupid cos I actually slipped on a banana peel!!!!

We have the same kind of arrangement as Linda - DH made an 'L' shaped piece to go down my side of the bed. The bottom part slides under the mattress, and there is a 30cm high 'wall' down my side of the bed so DS can't roll out. It's about 80cm long so I can still get out without having to climb over it. it happens to everyone, dont be to hard on yourself

DH had dd on his knee sitting on our bed when she was 6months old when she did this jerking flinchy thing wriggle/fell of him she banged her head on the corner of the drawers, resulting in a trip to a & e where her head was bandaged like something out of M*A*S*H.

A friend was sitting on the couch next to our other dd when she was 13 months when she somehow fell off and landed on the floor, where she cried so much she threw up, another trip to a & e where they said she was fine

I sleepily left the side of the cot down early one morning when Sam was about 6 months old.   He fell out onto the floor and hit his head on the side of a fan I had in his room, as it was the middle of summer!

James has rolled all down our stairs. I was at the bottom trying to fit a gate and I let him go up as so far he had not tried to go down....until this time. I managed to leap over the gate and catch him on the last step....my heart stopped but he was fine...cried a little but thankfully had rolled sideways down.

My girl has managed to find the floor not only from the bed (once) but also the kitchen table (once) When she fell from the bed (at about 7mths old) she didn't even wake up When she fell from the table (about 11mths old) I raced her straight into A&E and she made them all fall in love with her as she giggled and cooed away happy as larry. I feel over while carrying Ethan when he was about 14 months. I was crossing a road at the time. Scared the bloody crap out of me. I feel forward and just lifted out my arms to try and brake his fall. He was fine, but scared and crying and I scraped my knees up and got quite bruised. It's not something I would want to repeat.

I dropped the carseat buckle on Erynn's head yesterday, she cried a bit but forgave me pretty fast luckily. DH made a wedge made of wood that fits on the side of the bed as I was worried that something like would happen (one part of the wood goes under the mattress and the other goes up the side).

Well DS hasn't gone off the bed yet, but he has gone off the couch and last weekend for some reason I decided to lift him onto my shoulders and wacked his head on a low beam, with my whole family watching . My hand goes up too! I belong to the twice off the bed brigde. haha yeah Mamma2N it did give me a giggle.

Shes fine, has slept a little bit and had a feed and cuddle with her dad. She is all smiles again.

I can hear her wriggling round in her cot atm. Going to have to reassess the sleeping in bed thing I think. Hmmm I normally have her between the two of us so not an issue (aside from DP rolling onto her which he has, well his shoulder has dropped back onto her anyway not full on roll). I just love sleeping with her and waking up to find her talking to me or just lying next to eachother holding hands. Although she is known to hitting me in the head as well.

I some how managed to drop Spencer between the change table and my legs when he was 7 months, we ended up going to after hours cos it was a Sunday, the doc said he was fine but OMG I was so upset and DH was at work so I phoned him in hysterics cos I didn't know what to do. Spencer wouldn't stop crying so I thought he had a serious injury, but turned out he had bit his tongue so some pamol and some teething stuff helped him feel better. Horrid though, still feel bad about it now.

They are stronger than they look though, and accidents are all part of life. Oh Elle - big hugs! I think most of us have bad mamma moments DD has rolled off our bed (not once but twice)

You would think I would have learnt the first time! But the second time we were both in bed and I thought I could just zip off for a minute to go to the loo as she was out to it, surrounded by pillows - well I heard a big thud (while still on the loo!) I've never run so quickly in my life (and yes with pants still around my ankles!)

DP went out west today to spend time with his sister which meant that DD and I had the bed to ourselves.

I am tired as am trying to organise our place to move before next Sat when the storage unit comes and hadn't gone to sleep until 2am.

Pulled DD into bed with me at about 9ish and she dozed on and off wriggled round etc we have always put a pillow down on the other side of her so that if she moves this would be in her way. Well apparently that's not enough now as she moves alot even though she's not crawling I was half asleep and heard this bang and she had fallen off down DPs side of the bed, there is a low dressing table down his side of the bed and she would have hit her head on that. I scoped her up cuddled her chucked on clothes and jumped in the car, txt DP and my mum. Mum met me at the A&E by the time we got there she was happy as anything smiling talking etc but oh did I fell bad.

Dr said that everything was fine and where she hit her head abover her left eye was probably one of the best places to do so as it wasn't near her fontanelle or temples. Also said that the fontanelle was fine and if there was pressure on the brain then it would be raised. That was interesting to find out.

All is good now, she is sniffling in her cot I can hear but she is ok, have given her some pamol as she has a bit of a runny nose anyway.

My poor baby Honestly why is it that she always gets hurt when I have her!
