I'm preg with my first - a girl - and I don't have one. I thought I would get one cause I thought it had something to do with skin pigmentation as well and I'm a real whitey! but nope, nothing
I remember my Mum telling me that she only got one when she was preg with my little bro and he was 11lb12 (*GASP*) so maybe that had something to do with it? There are 5 more of us and she didn't get one with any of us. I had 2 girls and with the first I had a really dark line and the second time nothing. I had a quite obvious one with both boys, that went below and above my belly button. The two lines didn't line up which really wound me up.

Minik8, when I got pregnant with Kyle my line from Spencer was still there and just got darker and then after Kyle is has only just disappeared now. I had a faint line up to my belly button with DD. It didn't really fade after she was born and was still there when I fell pregnant again. This time another girl, and the line got a bit darker and now goes right up to my boobs! I've had one for a few weeks - but it's only really visible in certain light and even then it's quite faint! I had a very dark linea nigra line when I was preg with Isla, went from public bone, right up through belly button to mid bump. It took months to fade away after I had her too.

This time I dont have one at all, and I dont know the sex of this baby.
Has anyone had a linea nigra line with one sex, and not with the opposite sex?!
