I was being induced but Stella turned and was in a really odd position, there was no way that she was coming out naturally. <br /><br />I would definately try again for a VBAC, but I very much doubt I will be having anymore babies <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=21186">Chickaboo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 30872<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 January 2010 at 9:39pm<br /><br />my VBAC failed due to water leaking too long and induction was classed as failure to progress - it was classed as an emergency Ceasarian although never felt like that.<br /><br />I was a little sad as part of the reason for going for #4 for me was for Dh to expereince a VB (first two not his bio and they were naturals)<br /><br />But Elodie needed to come out and she was no where near coming out VB (head still way up even after 7 hours induction)<br /><br />IF i was going to have another baby i would try for another VBAC even after 1 elective and 1 emergency ceasarian. I know my body can do it as first 2 was a natural. ]]>

My son was posterior and in the military position. My waters had broken and he was stuck. <br />I did try again and gave birth easy as about 14 months after my second c-section :) <br /><br />There could have been so many other factors as to why your vbac didnt happen, I am not so sure I would buy the funky pelvis story to be honest. I was told the same thing and told I could never ever birth my babies normally, that there must be something wrong with my pelvis that meant that my babies were malpositioned and wouldnt come out. I now know 100% that that is bs!]]>
