Sorry, no help at all, I never had a show & my 1st internal was when I was in established labour... Never knew anything about cervix length!

your cervix should be between2-4cm through pregnancy
when you go into labour this shortens and disappears - well completely opens up!

sounds like your mucous plug you have lost, it can come away in small lots over a few days or all at once.

How short is the cervix ment to get? My midwidfe did a S&S yesterday and said that my cervix is soft and behind babies head but still 2cm long. It was favourable-ish.
After it i lost a tiny bit of long thin mucus type stuff that was pink and then today i lost ALOT of clear mucus discharge stuff.
I dont know what any of this means and would she have just agrivated my cervix that cause discharge or could it be plug?
