Is she to old to be trying now? What age are you normally suppose to start?
Sorry I just do not know that much about dream feeds and have never felt the need to try one until now.

So, I'd say keep trying and it is just something she will get used to - but don't force it if she's not receptive.

I tried a dreamfeed last night with DD with the same results as you, she fell asleep on the breast in under 5 minutes and it was a struggle to get her to latch on in the first place as she was so sleepy. She woke up at her usual time too so I don't think I'm going to bother trying it again for another month or so.

With DD1 we didn't start dreamfeeding until around 10 - 12 weeks and never had a problem with it working both in terms of feeding and sleeping through.

With the bottle she ends up being fully awake and it takes a good while to get her back to sleep.

Any tips are much appreciated!
