I find it soooooo difficult getting my head around it all. Give me a document to interpret anyday, or even accounts, and I'm fine!!

Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh...those are all things I permanently deleted from my memory!! God I hated statistics. I didnt find it hard...just mind numbingly boring. It was an exam I walked out on before finishing because I just couldnt take it anymore. Nope I don't need to show the workings in my assignment, I just need to find the deviation in order to work out other formulas like the p value. I am struggling big-time with stats and finding hypotheses and following the formulas!!

Oh....found the standard deviation - thank you!!! Do you mean standard deviation? Do you need to show the workings in your assignment? I'm completely stuck and hoping there are some math whizzes around here...I cannot get my head around the formula to find out the sample variance/sample standard variation and the population cariance/population standard variation.

Can anyone please please help me??
