i didnt have many signs to start of with. only knew from the midwife appointments. but when it shot up really high i did have blurry vision and headaches and some swelling.
high blood pressure can be silent. but if you have any of the signs that hailstones mentioned i'd ring ya midwife for a check.

Apparently there are few signs of high blood pressure but some of the symptoms are

*Chest pain
*Dizziness
*Headaches
*Shortness of breath
*Blurred vision
My Dad has High blood pressure and has it monitored closely by his doctor (he also has Angina-a heart condition so its very important to monitor)
But best way to check is to have your blood pressure taken. As it can affect some pregnant women differently.
