The main reason I do all mine together is I have a full load after about a day and a half of both nappies and clothes and in this heat I don't like to leave the nappies to long before washing as they get stinky.

I do my seperately too, I wash nappies every other day so its pretty much a full load in the stupid front loader washing machines we have here in the UK.

I have always had to wash with sensitive liquid for DH's skin so have always just done all our washing together. I always do my separate. I like a previous poster like to make sure they get plenty of space and water around them. I do! When she was younger I used to wash seperately but then the novelty wore off So I do towels, then clothes (all of ours) and nappies seperately. I didn't even realise you could wzas nappies with clothes . Hmmmm I've been doing nappies, DS whites/colours, towels, our whites, colours, darks. Maybe that's why I just spent $400 on water .

I've always washed the nappies on their own because that's what my mum did LOL. I also read that if you use a eco-laundry powder they can damage the overnaps (make them less waterproof) so I handwash them with ordinary stuff.

I mainly wash nappies separately, every 2nd day so it almost fills up the machine. But sometimes I'll throw in clothes if they are pukey or really messy from food. Seperate washes here everytime. I only wash nappies every 2nd or 3rd day so it's always a half load anyway. I like the nappies having plenty of room in the machine. During winter I was doing a rinse cycle on the naps then throwing in her clothes, but I found the fleece on her pockets started accumulating fluff which would transfer to her botty which drove me mad trying to wipe off

So now I do seperate again. I do either. Mostly nappy wash separate...becuase 2 in nappies= full load. If there arent any really sh*tty ones I might throw in the kids clothes too. I do seperate loads.. but I have a lots of nappies LOL Actually I am so anal I actually was my ittis seperate from my pockets. That said, its because I hot wash my pockets and cold was my ittis.

I do a separate nappy load, tried washing them with other clothes but personally I didn't like it

ETA: oh and a question is only silly if you don't ask it!
I think you will find that alot of people was their nappies with other clothes

I'm lazy and I wash all the kids clothes with Joels nappies....have done since using cloth. I use soapnuts and just let the machine wash as normal in cold water. We have no smalls.....and most of the time I smell everything as i'm hanging things up (must look very odd to the neighbours)

When you're washing nappies do you do a seperate load for nappies or do you throw them in with all the other baby stuff?

If you just throw them in with everything else does it make everything else smell?
