Most supermarkets don't stock it, but New Worlds all seem to.

I find it actually tastes quite nice with a squirt of honey in it. Without the honey it's just a bit bland.

My reasoning for taking it is it's not expensive and even if it does nothing, it's not a complete waste because it is still good for you. And if it does work, well that's pretty darn useful!

It also contains loads of vitamins and minerals including iron (which was one of the reasons I decided to try it).

I have no idea whether it made a difference for me or not but Ollie was born after an 8 hour labour and Stella was an hour all up from first contraction to birth.

I think it is recommended you take it only after 34 weeks in case it induces labour....in saying that my births were 14 days late and 10 days late.

Not sure if it does anything BUT for my first baby, I had a posterior birth - which generally takes longer, yet my labour was just over four hours. i was fully dilated within 3. And baby two was 2 hours. So while i have noidea whether it works, I will take it with baby three.

Add honey to the drink though. i don't do herbal teas either, but honey made it palateable

I don't think it helps get the baby out quicker or anything like that. Oh, I've also heard that it can help with intensity of labour.
I guess you just research the benefits and decide if it's worth it.
All the best.
