there dosen't seem to be too many kiwis that do it? I think its an american thing. I would to hear form anyone that has done it. Maybe I'll check out the US websites? Anna, does your mum know where you can do it? Have heard about it, generally not from kiwis tho. My mum was going to sponsor me to do the course for my first birth (she is a midwife so was interested for professional reasons!!) but we never got round to it. I am intrigued but sceptical! A friend of mine did hypnobirthing with both her babies and was telling me how she had pain free childbirth! I think that I might consider it when my time comes.

My friend in america is going to do this , but she is only about 28 weeks so she wont be finished in time for me to tell you her feedback about it - but she has obviously decided it is a good idea?

Has anyone heard of this, or know anyone who has tried it? I was wanting to find out a bit more about it and was wondering if it works? I found on the web a couple of people who run courses in NZ but they are all based up near Auckland (I am near Welly). There is also a book you can buy - but was wondering if ot would be good??!
