Just make sure you check the wood regularly to make sure it's dry enough.

As for wood, City Firewood are great and deliver if you order over 3m3. They can tell you what combos are the best and often have good specials.

I have never had a fire or logburner before, so I'm a little bit at a loss.
I have been told to make sure to buy a combination of fast and slowburning wood. But which is which? And does anyone know a good place in Christchurch to buy wood?

Is cheap wood bad wood?
Where do you stack your wood? We don't really have a place to put it that has a roof. Can you stack it out in the open and cover it with a tarpaulin (sp)?
