The letter also said that the vaccine is strongly recommended for pregnant women, because they are at increased risk of complication from the virus.

Apparently the vaccine has been approved for use with pregnant women and those breastfeeding.

Yeah I got one in the mail saying that I'm part of an early protection programme, it's free and I should go to the hospital one evening this week to get my first vaccine, of two. It also said that under fives are free if they are enrolled at eligible practices.

I was just wondering if many people have been sent this letter, or maybe it's because I'm going to be working in healthcare and my babies both have asthma? Has any one else gotten a letter in the mail from their Drs, saying that they are eligible for a free swine flu vaccine this week at the hospital?
