One of her legs is slightly longer than the other and when she commando crawled she dragged the shorter leg along behind her instead of moving it properly. She's had her hips and legs checked and xrayed and they are fine. Just keeping an eye on it now. Our doc said it is not unusal for babies to have this sort of issue.

A scoliosis is a problem curvature of the spine which would need input as they tend to get worse and cause all sorts of other issues as muscles and joints accommodate the unnatural curve. On the other hand if it is uneven leg length then it is less of a problem but not so treatable.

Hes had a scan and it hips are fine so they are just keeping an eye on it, and the orthopaed said they do normally even up.

Good luck at the specialist, i wouldnt worry, every time i have been in there its chocka block with babies/ toddlers all getting the same thing checked,so its better to be on the safe side and get it checked out to ease your mind.

This was a check to make sure his hips were in alignment, so perhaps this is what they're worried about?
Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.

But I guess as the app looms closer i'm a bit nervous.

Anyone had this or know anything about what they are looking at?
