Hi,

I had this done when I was having some treatment a few years ago after having a dodgy smear test. I couldn't feel anything different, but obviously I couldn't feel what they were doing either. It didn't effect any other 'lady bits' and no issues with needing to pee or anything.

The only problem I had, and I'm not sure if this was just me, is that the anesthetic made me all dizzy and I had a complete head rush. Before I could mutter "ooohhhh I feel a bit funny" they had the bed right back and were stripping clothes off me to cool me down LOL As I said though, drugs don't agree with me at the best of times, so that could have just been me.

im getting this tomorrow and im just wondering...what gets numb? like just the cervix i know but how much surrounding stuff ends up numb too.

will i know i need to pee still? and all that kind of thing? or is it very small area of numbage
