The pill "tricks" your body into thinking you are in early pregnancy so that you don't release an egg so if you were charting you probably wouldn't notice any temp changes. The pill usually acts by suppresing natural hormone production, thereby preventing ovulation.. so charting wouldnt reveal anything... once you stop taking the pill then charting might work... bear in mind that it takes some women a while for their bodies to get back into a natural rythym afterwards

Hi there,

Im going to be coming off the pill next month, and wondered if I could start charting ovulation while still taking the pill..... or will it not be an accurate read??
