These are the links to WFF tax credits, accomdation supplement info, and parental leave info. Depending on your situation you may be able to get all three. If you have been employed with your employer for more than 6 months of full time work then you will be eligible for parental leave which is 14 weeks of paid leave. If you have worked there for over a year you can get the 14 weeks payed leave plus up to 52 weeks unpaid (the 14 included)

WFF tax credits are based on your estimate of income for the year. Its best to over estimate your income so that you dont get a bill at the end of the year. There is a simple calculator on the IRD website. The accommodation supplement depends on your earnings and where you live, and goes on a week by week basis rather than yearly like WFF.

Hi all

Just wondering if there is a list anywhere about the different entitlements new parents can apply for. I've been to the IRD website and had a look around, but it seems there is a gap in a really easy to understand list.

We're due in August and will be going down to one income. I'm trying to work out our options and how we'll afford to live! :) Anyone got any helpful tips?
