Hi Karen
I can't comment on your OB personally but in regards to him not using a midwife, perhaps he just uses the hospital midwifes? Maybe just ask when you next speak to him or see him.

I cant really help, but there are a few women in my ANC who have him and really like him (so far!) I've had no experience with him during labour or anything at that end but I did see him when I was referred to wellington after a scan showed abnormalities and he was great to me and my hubby and was the best person that we saw throughout that whole experience. I'm thinking of using Michel Sangalli in Wgtn as my obstetrician.
Anyone use him and have any feedback?
