For me its soothing knowing he's right next to me and I can hear him breathing. Also getting up in the middle of the night is no big drama. Cooper does snore and is rather noisy in his sleep, but so is DH so I've become accustomed to noise</P><P>But, everyone is different on this. You may start with them in your room and move them out the next day, you'll only know when you bvring your little one home what will work for you</P>]]>

It was definitely easier having her in our room to start with and when we have been away I have slept in the same room as her and night feeds go so much quicker! But we sleep better with her in a different room.]]>
