Haven't finished. Apparently they need to be 1/4 inch thick first. Then you heat a cookie sheet in the oven & quickly touch them down on it & press together.

I think that bit will be a little tricky!

I'm trying to avoid dairy so Cooper & I can have some which is why I got the idea of making my own. I might try this too - thanks for the idea! I used to always make choccies at christmas time too and wrap them in little cellophane bags.

Who's making their own?

This is what I'm doing.

I bought molds from Spotlight & whittakers Dark chocolate (1st cake got eaten )

I've melted a little bit of chocolate & using a pastry brush am brushing layers in the molds. I've got one big one & one with about 5 small ones.

I think I can make 2 big eggs & one tray of little ones from 1 cake of chocolate. WAY Cheaper!
