As for running with the pram, went for my first decent long walk with the pram today and that was hard enough lol, I had visions of being out there running within days or weeks of baby being born, here I am three months later and just getting into walking! I do have a mountain buggy (and must pump up the tyres), but its hard to run and hold a buggy!

I read that you should wait till about 4 months when baby has good head control, one of those capsule inserts is probably a good idea though

My sister's mate (male) has run with his boy in the stroller for about 3 years and says that the jarring from running warped the stroller after a while and they had to get a new one. I think running with a stroller puts more pressure on the frame and thats why most (except mountain buggys and the top end phil & teds I think) are not recomended for running.

I have a Mountain Buggy and used to run with my little girl in the carry cot attachment when she was really little so she was lying completely flat.

I think from what I read that you are supposed to wait till they are 6 months old, and you are also supposed to make sure they have neck/head support as well.

Good luck with your running! I was suprised when I first started how hard it actually is to run while pushing a stroller. It looks easy but it takes a bit of getting used to.
