i was 7cm when i got to hospital with ds2 labour had only started about 10mins b4 that.

ds3 i dont know as i went in for a ve was 2cm so sent home he was born a few hrs later.

I was 4CM when I got to the hospital to be induced at 10 days overdue.   I went into established labour by myself (the MW refused to induce me) a few hours after that and then 26 hours later I was 6CM

I didn't get past 6CM, infact I believe I went back down to 4!

I was pretty much the same as you .
I thought it would never start , despite being dilated , went for lots of walks, laid down on my left side in the bath and contractions started the next morning .
I still stayed at 4cms for about 8 hours tho , which was a pain

With DD1, I vaguely recall 5cm or so? I think it is probably one of those things that could vary quite a lot from woman to woman.
