I use Natio cleanser and their primer and scrub cheap from Farmers and great! And then I use a shesido (sp) moisturiser. Moisture mist is also cheap and lasts ages I just find it's not quite enough if your prone to the odd break out :)

I use a mixture or Garnier, Nutrogena and St Ives. My skin is really oily and I find mixing between them stops that, if I stay with the same product for too long my skin goes yuck. Also the oily skin means I am prone to blackheads which nothing gets rid off!

I use Neutrogena face wash from the supermarket, it is the best thing I have found for my skin, it only costs about $13 for a tube and lasts DH and I around 6 weeks. And I use Dr Haushka moisturiser from Farmers. I use Neutrogena when I'm pregnant and Clinique when I'm not (my skin is way oilier at the moment and for some reason the Neutrogena just works better!).

I use dermologica products and yes it can be expensive but I buy from strawberry net so get it at 50% off what it is sold for in salons. I love Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser.
I got awful cystic acne when I had a Mirena IUCD in and after treating it my skin became very sensitive.
Cetaphil is soap free and ph neutral so very gentle on skin. I've just switched to Trilogy products since having bubs and we can't afford the Dior (!! ) stuff I used to use. They smell amazing and are lovely to use. Again, a bit more expensive than supermarket, but is available in chemists and Farmers. i was cheeky and went to a clinique trial day and then went online to strawberrynet.com and got the products there, saved almost $100 so its worth it!

Bec- I have used mixture of clinique & elizabeth arden over the last 5years, plus a few cheap moisturisers in between when poor and I have never been entirely happy.

I decided I had had enough of my dull skin last Sunday and went into farmers and spoke with the Elizabeth Arden lady for her reccomendations. I came home with 'Intervene'products by Elizabeth Arden which have been great so far. The cleanser/toner is an all in one face wash....so much easier. And a day moiseriser with spf15. I will aventually go back for the night and eye stuff during their next sale, but she gave me a bunch of testers in the mean time.

My skin is already feeling and looking better just after a few days. So I suggets you actually speak to someone who knows the range and can steer you in the right direction of which specific products to use.

I am on Clinique again, but have used Natio before and the moisturiser was really good. My skin is pretty dry though so I have alot of problems with cleansers. I use aveeno too it is great! Just the clenser and moisturiser. I don't mind buying one expensive product (say moisturiser) but don't want to end up paying $50+ each for cleanser and toners too! I just use the nivea 'young' (??) facewash, need the TINIEST bit of it. Its blue and is really nice. Even DH uses it occasionally! (He's a soap and budget shampoo kinda man, so thats a big deal )
I also use one other facewash.. Think its clearasil. And I also have a Neutrogena one sitting there..
I use Dove spf 30 moisturiser. Occasionally will use Nivea young toner (but not very often- I don't see what it does?!)

Although one hint I was given was to occasionally swap facewash/moisturisers to another brand, just because you don't feed yourself the exact same thing every day, so why should you feed your skin the same stuff? Since I mix it up (try to use a different brand facewash every few days) I've found my skin is in WAY better condition. I personally use Olay and Neutrogena. I find both really good.
My sister has skin issues (senstiive as well as problem acne even tho she is in her 30's) and she has just started using the Dr Lewinns range. I think I might try it as well. The even do a 'Bio-Oil' type product which is apparently really good for stretchmarks! So might have to get me some of that to see if can reduce the appearance of mine. I've always had fairly sensitive skin, mixed in with an oily t-zone and occasionally dry cheeks *sigh*.

I've found since using Lush, my skin is in much better condition. I don't think their prices are much more expensive than supermarket brands and they tend to last a long time - except when you use it lots cos they smell so yummy! I have just started using the neutrogena range and i love it. I use a mixture of fancy stuff and supermarket these days, and I really like the Garnier nutritionist its about $20. Also the red garnier one is good, especially the night cream. I love Ultraceuticals, it's expensive compared to supermarket stuff, but cheap for salon stuff.

For supermarket skincare I've been pleasantly surprised by Aveeno stuff, it's actually really good. The do a great SPF30 daily moisturiser.
