It was only "social" footy but the range of abilities was huge. Sure, I knew my own limits but when you're playing against people who haven't played a sport before (or even played a little) they're not as good at keeping themselves to themselves IYGWIM.

This time I played till about 6 weeks (competively) but felt terrible the next day and decided to give it up as it wasn't worth feeling rotten for an entire day afterwards. I've had much worse MS this time though.

My doctor was happy I gave up football as it's a contact sport but was very encouraging of continuing with swimming/running/yoga etc.

You say she knows her limits, so as long as she doesn't push harder than usual there is no reason for her not to play. Maybe, if you play a particually tough and physical team she would be better with a half game or sitting that one out. Was it....Adine Wilson? Who still played world cup netball? One of them did. Of course they are in a class of their own but so is the feriousness of their game.

Edited by Flake
